We graded the entire yard, poured custom concrete walkways and patio areas, and installed premium artificial turf. The Challenge
The existing yard had poor drainage and uneven soil that collected water during winter rains. The homeowners wanted usable outdoor space but didn't want the cost or maintenance of real grass in the Central Valley heat. They also needed durable concrete areas for furniture and play equipment without creating a boring all-concrete yard.
Our Solution
We started by excavating and regrading the entire backyard to create proper drainage away from the house. After compacting the base, we formed and poured concrete walkways and patio sections with clean lines and smooth finishes. For the lawn areas, we installed a drainage layer, crushed rock base, and premium synthetic turf with realistic blade height and natural color variation. The combination gives them functional hardscape where they need it and soft green lawn everywhere else.
