The Challenge
The existing filter cartridges had deteriorated over several seasons of use. Heavy algae buildup and dirt had packed into the pleats so deeply that even professional cleaning would not restore proper water flow. The restricted flow was forcing the pump to work harder, wasting energy and risking equipment damage. The pool water was turning green despite proper chemical levels because the filter simply could not trap particles anymore.
Our Solution
We removed the old cartridges and inspected the filter housing for cracks or damage. After confirming the tank was in good shape, we installed four brand new replacement cartridges rated for the pool size. We cleaned out any remaining debris from the housing and reassembled everything with new o-rings to prevent leaks. Once the system was running, water clarity improved immediately and the pump noise returned to normal levels.
