This Reedley family needed a safe way for their elderly grandmother to use the pool without worrying about slipping or falling. We installed a custom stainless steel handrail at the entry steps with a dual-rail design that provides support from deck level all the way down into the water. The polished stainless finish looks great and will never rust, and the handrail is anchored securely into the concrete deck to handle any weight.

The Challenge
The homeowners wanted their grandmother to be able to enjoy the pool safely, but the steps had no handrail and she was nervous about getting in and out. They tried temporary solutions like portable grab bars but nothing felt stable enough. The pool entry area had limited space and they wanted a handrail that looked good and matched the existing aesthetic while providing real safety. Installation required drilling and anchoring into the existing deck without cracking the concrete or damaging the pool coping.
Our Solution
We custom fabricated a stainless steel handrail with a dual-rail design that follows the natural path from deck to pool. The upper rail provides support on deck and the lower rail continues down the steps underwater. We used marine-grade stainless steel that will never corrode or rust from pool chemicals. The handrail was professionally anchored into the deck with stainless steel sleeves set in epoxy for maximum strength. All mounting hardware is hidden for a clean look. We polished the entire handrail to a mirror finish that complements the pool perfectly.
