This Dinuba pool had seen better days. The plaster was stained and rough, the deck was cracked and settling, and the homeowners wanted to add a water feature without building a full spa. We completely renovated the pool with fresh white plaster, premium blue glass tile, and a raised spillway that creates a beautiful sheet waterfall. We tore out and replaced the entire concrete deck with a stamped finish that looks like natural stone. The result is a backyard that feels brand new.

The Challenge
The existing pool had decades of wear with rough plaster that was uncomfortable to walk on and stains that would not acid wash out. The concrete deck had multiple cracks from ground settling and tree roots. The homeowners wanted a water feature for sound and visual appeal but did not want the maintenance or cost of a separate spa. They also needed the project done quickly during summer before school started.
Our Solution
We drained the pool and stripped the old plaster and tile down to the gunite shell. After patching any structural cracks, we installed new blue glass tile at the waterline and applied smooth white plaster throughout. For the water feature, we built a raised spillway wall with matching blue tile that creates a sheet waterfall flowing into the pool. We demolished the old deck and poured fresh concrete with a stamped stone pattern that matches the home's style. The entire project took three weeks from start to finish.
