Project Overview
This Selma pool needed new plaster after years of wear left the surface rough and stained. We replastered the entire pool and spa with smooth white marcite and kept the existing decorative tile at the waterline. The result is a fresh clean pool that looks and feels brand new.

The Challenge
The old plaster was breaking down with rough patches that scraped bare feet and calcium stains that would not acid wash out. The homeowners loved their decorative tile and wanted to keep it, so we had to work carefully around it during the replaster. They needed the pool ready quickly and wanted a finish that would last for years without constant maintenance.
Our Solution
We drained the pool and removed all old plaster down to the gunite shell, protecting the existing tile during demolition. After inspecting and repairing any cracks in the gunite, we applied fresh white marcite plaster using proper techniques for a smooth durable finish. We carefully sealed the connection between the new plaster and existing tile to prevent water intrusion. The project took just over a week from drain to refill.
